From New York state to Maine on the 3rd leg

Started off in Newburgh, NY after a decent nights rest after the 12:30 a.m. fire alarm.  Luckily the hotel was not on fire, but fire response wasn't on fire either.

Fire department after alarm had gone off for 15 minutes
The morning began with a walk up to the Orange County Choppers shop.  Got some great pictures of some of the choppers there.

Then we headed out for Freeport, Maine just north of Portland.  The traffic was stressful with construction on top of toll stations.  We were able to snap a picture at the Connecticut border.

Finally we made it to Freeport late this afternoon.  We decided to go eat at the Muddy Rudder which has seafood and steaks.  It was great Melissa got crab cakes/lobster bisque and I had a lobster roll.

Yummy

Great food
We made our way over to the LL Bean which has a giant shop here.  The last leg of the trip will be tomorrow.  We look forward to finally making it to Caribou.
