After last minute packing and a tearful goodbye we set off on the first leg of our trip. The weather was cool but beautiful after the recent cold front pushed through. The day was uneventful since Melissa is still sick the only stops we made were gas and food. We made it to Manassas, VA at around 4:30 p.m. and waited for Melissa's great friend from college to get off work. After that we ate at the Cheeseburger in Paradise and visited with her friend. It was a great first day of driving and we hope tomorrow goes just as good. Please pray for Melissa and her being sick.
